The Ok Oh Sartorialist Department

It is odd for me to be late for work. I have tried to cultivate a lifestyle which does not necessitate even the option of being late, that concept being made moot by the creative process meeting deadlines. However, despite my best efforts to feign a certain at-ease lifestyle, I found myself running late this morning. For me, it is a particularly bad feeling. I don't like being on the other end of disapproval. It makes me, oddly, angry. On my way to work, running so late, I barely looked up. Then I did. And I happened to turn around and I happened to see this woman in a chic trench coat and little chic shoes and a sort of way of standing and that jaunty bag and scarf and leather suitcase and I thought, "Ah ha!"

Todd, the tease factor in this little urban triptych is almost unbearable. I can't look away, but I hate to look because I know I'll never know what this woman actually looks like.

Truth be told, I'd love to know what she looked like from the front. Obviously wearing a skirt. What is a cool skirt? Did she have on a similarly chic blouse of some sort?
But of course I couldn't find myself running back and around her to capture the front in some nonsensical nonchalant sort of way.
I do not know what she looked like. Her hair obscured her features when she turned to look down the street.
And remember, I was in a hurry.

toddy, I understand that Mr. Kelvin Freely (Kevin Freeney??) will be in town Oct. 5th. I would like to arrange a meeting to speak, among other things, about this triptych problem. Maybe some Hearts. I could make chili, now that I have a good recipe.
