California Pre-2008
Today I saw the movie Juno, a little sweetie of a film about a teen pregnancy with lots of precious music in it. Some of it is by the girl from the Moldy Peaches. On the drive home I was looking out the window at the knee-highs coming in and thought to myself in the middle of another thought "let yourself be surprised by yourself, yeah!" This is a thought one might have in California. For a second I thought it was a serious thought, then I convinced myself it could not possibly be a serious thought. One might also chance upon generous amounts of Pearl Jam, classic Prince and the Dire Straits on the radio here in California.
This is not a Polaroid. I didn't bring my Polaroid camera, opting instead to bring a more expensive, far heavier camera.
This morning I literally hung ten. Hope you are doing well.

I love those knee highs.
you belong here...or someplace like it.
The tile in that picture looks local...and I heard you and the fam are around. Hope to see you.
Oh yeah Sam. I was hoping to come up and get in a little Rincon for New Years but our schedule is too tight for the drive. I am sorry to miss you and the Demmons.
I can't believe the Juno screenwriter calls herself "Diablo Cody". She's from a suburb of Chicago I think. That's L.A. for you.
