Itinerant world traveler and local legend, Jeremy has returned just in time to see the fruits of his investment and his brother's labor ripen. We headed over en masse to enjoy the free food and drink normally saved for friends and family. I think there were some of those there, and a whole bunch of us too. The burger sandwiches of the grass fed variety were fantastic. The marrow toast was delicious and the beer was cold and crisp. The place itself is an understated beauty. A real straight American throwback bar, a tough thing to find in these days of throwback Irish bars, throwback French bars and throwback Canadian bars. Were it any closer to my apartment, I'd get fat, I suppose.

that was truly a delicious burger. It's a contender for the best burger in brooklyn, me thinks.

Toddy got all buck wild too. Don;t let him tell you different.

todd, you were off the hook last night. And that Kevin guy too. what happened to you guys? Matt and I ended up at WeatherUp talking shop over a beer. Did Danny kidnap you and send you to bed?

toddy completely lost his steam once we got in the car, and I didn't cry. not even once.

I lost my voice. This morning my son kept saying "Talk Papa, TALK!"
I just held my aching head.

what a hoot. I would have surely kept drinking or at the very least talking loudly were it not for the longhair crushing himself out. but fun times all around.
