Big Dan gave me Head On, which preceded Edge of Heaven in the filmmaking time line of one Fatih Akin. These are the only two of Mr. Akin's small handful of movies I have seen. I plan on seeing every single one I've missed. I suggest you do the very same. Even New York, I Love You, for which he has apparently directed a short segment and could be nothing other than a practice in throw-up worthy sentimentality, still, I'll see that movie for him alone. And maybe Yvan Attal.
