Brooklyn to the East The strength leaves the bones in little ways. You don't feel it. No amount of milk drinking will fix it. Well, maybe it will. You haven't tried. Too much milk makes you gag. It goes so slowly though, you don't notice it until your hackles are risen and your fist is cocked and there your bones feel like the bones of some bird. And you realize all your strength, the bone strength, is being systematically, has been systematically, emptied. And you turn to God and He is there, and He turns away because He knows how it feels. And you've hurt his feelings too many times for Him to look you in the eye.
