Consularis Body Surfing Club of New York

And my son's first New York dawn patrol.
The ride out is fraught with the spectre of wrong turns. The ride back, with the spectre of the inevitable. It is certainly worth the dip and the few weak body-womps, but this kind weather is not long for these shores.
It will have to be worked out.

Note the little blip of a guy there in the lower right hand corner. A long pole beach fisherman jumped in to free his line, popped back out, put his bright orange waders back on, lit a cigarette and gave us the thumbs up. That was worth the trip right there.
