A Rented House in Upstate New York

The right side of North America really has nothing on the left side as far as sheer magnitude of natural beauty. Partly this opinion is due to a certain conceit I have coming from the Pacific side. Partly this opinion is due to the basic fact that the Atlantic side has spent far more time under the thumb of the colonial-industrial metropolitan complex.
I am, however, constantly amazed by the East Coast's ability to surprise. The more I explore this side of things the more I find little pockets of idyllic possibilities that I had readily assumed were not there.

One thing is for sure though. There are a hell of a lot more bugs out here.

What a great picture. The house totally looks like a miniature or something.
