The right side of North America really has nothing on the left side as far as sheer magnitude of natural beauty. Partly this opinion is due to a certain conceit I have coming from the Pacific side. Partly this opinion is due to the basic fact that the Atlantic side has spent far more time under the thumb of the colonial-industrial metropolitan complex.
I am, however, constantly amazed by the East Coast's ability to surprise. The more I explore this side of things the more I find little pockets of idyllic possibilities that I had readily assumed were not there.
One thing is for sure though. There are a hell of a lot more bugs out here.
