Con told me once how he learned to swim.
"My dad and his brothers were in the water all the time. We only lived a few blocks from the beach and they were always swimming and body surfing. One day my dad and my uncles took us all out in a boat pretty far beyond the surf and just dropped us in the water and told us to get in."
