We did not have a little son. We had our little dog. We went to the park every Sunday to watch softball and read the paper. Do we ever realize how good we have it? Of course not. If we did the ozone layer might still be intact, the acidity of the oceans wouldn't be so high and we would probably still own that old Volvo. The world isn't so black and white though. We do have our little son. And our little dog is happy in her sunny retirement. We have big plans and little plans and Jeremy lets us use Little Fatty whenever we want. And I reckon I'll surf twice as much this year as I did that year. My wife is just as pretty and smart though. That seems to stay the same.

Actually, I surfed quite a bit that year.
I think we went to Costa Rica twice or something like that. And we spent some quality time in California.
Some things don't get better I guess.
My wife saw this and says it is actually two years ago that this photo was taken.
So maybe I will surf more than that year.
