Rajiv, Summer 2006, New York State

Imagine the movie Footloose but instead of Oklahoma, or Utah or whatever, the movie takes place in upstate New York. Then, instead of grumpy Christian fun-haters you have slightly tipsy Reformed Jews, instead of Kenny Loggins pop rock you have a Cuban band. Then, instead of an outspoken kid from Chicago, you have a quiet guy from Africa via Kentucky via Bolivia and instead of a repressed yet headstrong daughter of a preacher, you have a post-punk, care free daughter of a psychologist.
The catch is, there is still a barn! In both!
And Rajiv!
