Right now my dog is under my shirt, sitting on my lap.

She is small enough to do that and it keeps us both warm.

There was an episode of Taxi I saw when I was young where the crazy foreign character played by Andy Kauffman had to sleep with a woman other than his wife to stay warm after his taxi broke down in a blizzard. When he got back home after the blizzard passed, his wife knew what had happened almost instantaneously. It took me years to know what happened.
