I have five coffee table books in my office at work. Lars Tunbjörk's Office, Pearman & Whalley's The Architecture of Eden, The Art Director's Club Art Director's Annual 81, Warshaw's Photo/Stoner and Don James' Prewar Surfing Photographs.
Miguel gave me a beautiful, enormous photo he snapped of a courtyard in Spain all set up for a flamenco guitar concert. Rows of empty old plastic chairs set up on an uneven cobble-stone floor, facing a black sheet-covered lean-to stage. The colors are blue and warm and subdued and lend themselves to the very quiet, somewhat lonely, remorseful period either right before or the day after the show. Hard to tell which. It must be three feet by three feet and would make my room sing, that's for sure.
