Yesterday the people on the radio were interviewing some African Americans about how they thought they'd react if Obama is crowned president.
Almost every single one sounded like they were choking up just contemplating it.
It made me choke up too.
Sheesh.

there is this credit card commercial, I think a mastercard one, where this father and son make a trip to Norway and ride a ferry and buy sweaters on a sort of family lineage/ get back to the roots type trip. But then, they figure out that really, they are Swedish.
The other day I was working with the director who shot that commercial and I had to admit to how that thing makes me a wee misty every time.
Pretty embarrassing.
there is something about swedes that does that to me too.
