Touchdown Twins

Papa shared a youth and a surname with Jackie Robinson. At the house in Carlsbad there are more than a few black and whites of Papa and Jackie in later years, still looking trim and fit. Papa is a great story teller, and he doesn't pull punches, but he always gets a little choked up when he talks about Jack. The respect he has for his childhood friend is palpable and affecting.
